The value for money at Cocobolo Surf Hotel & School was outstanding. The room was clean, comfortable, and even had its own fridge. The location was fantastic, close to the beach and surrounded by great restaurants. The staff, especially Jessica and Lalo, were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

During our Christmas stay, we were pleased with the friendliness and helpfulness of the hotel owners. The location of the hotel was also a major plus, with just a short walk to the beautiful beach. we enjoyed the presence of two adorable dogs and the opportunity to relax in the hammocks provided.

Our experience at this hotel was less than satisfactory. The lack of hot water and the unsafe electrical showers made our stay uncomfortable and inconvenient.

Incredible hosts and location! Beautiful dogs and hammocks were an absolute delight. Perfectly situated near the beach, bakery, ATM, and supermarket. The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with a fridge. Playa Carmen is just a short walk away, with great restaurants nearby. The owners were welcoming and the atmosphere was amazing. We had an amazing time at Cocobolo Surf Hotel & School. The owners, Lalo and Jessica, were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The hostel was clean and well-equipped, with comfortable rooms and a kitchen that had everything we needed. The location couldn't have been better, with bars, restaurants, and shops just a stone's throw away, and the beach only a 3-minute walk. Lalo's surf lessons were top-notch and the sunsets were absolutely epic. We loved it so much that we ended up extending our stay for over a week!
